Jennifer Daru, MD, Founder of Hospitalist Concepts, graduated from the Dartmouth-Brown Medical school program and went on to do her residency at Northwestern's Children's Memorial Hospital in Chicago. Dr. Daru has both established and directed hospitalist programs within academic centers and in community hospitals. Currently, she is writing the section on pediatric hospital medicine for the textbook Just the Facts: Pediatrics. She also serves as the Illinois representative and newsletter editor for the American Academy of Pediatrics' Section on Hospitalist Care.
